German life 

Our common life, together in Germany.

Here we are managing four different seasons during the year, with different temperatures and different / "seasonal"habits. There is also the change of the daylight during the year: from 21st of December (longest night) until 21st of June (longest day) the days start to get longer and longer. It means: in winter, it is almost dark about 5:00 PM, while in summer, there is still light outside, until 09:00 PM

Heating system was not known, by Sundari befor her first arrival, here. Thick blankets and winter-coats are never used in Indonesia. Beside the differences in cultures, there are lots of differences in the invironment of lifing.

our town

Toenisvorst  the town, we are living, is situated in the district of "Kreis Viersen" in North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We are 5km in front of Krefeld, 9 km behind Neuss and about 25km away from Duesseldorf. Be car-travel, the Dutch border is just 20 Minutes away from our home. A bunch of Asian shops and restos secure our survival, here.
